Urip Gawe Urup
Direct Social Philanthropy
Overview
"Urip Gawe Urup", in life, do good deeds. This ancient Javanese principle is the heart of our direct philanthropy work.
We believe that sustainable impact requires more than money, it requires presence, relationships, and consistency. That's why our team doesn't just donate from a distance. We show up. We visit the orphanages we support. We sit with the children in the libraries we fund. We hold the animals we rescue.
Our philanthropy covers three areas: education through scholarships and community libraries, social welfare through orphanage support and food programs, and animal welfare through rescue, shelter, veterinary care, and rehoming.
Objectives
- Provide scholarships for higher education to underprivileged youth
- Support orphanages and community care homes through donations and volunteering
- Fund and operate community libraries to improve literacy
- Rescue, shelter, and rehome animals in need across Jakarta
